The event was attended by some of the most pre-eminent banking professionals in the Gulf Region. Over the course of the day, participants heard from Mr Christos Megalou, CEO of Piraeus Bank, on the remarkable turn-around story of the leading Greek systemic bank; Mr Angus Dodd, formerly Co-Head of European Real Estate at Lone Star Funds and CEO of Quintain Limited, on the Irish and UK experience of building an NPL market; and Mr Ahmad Abu Eideh, CEO of Invest Bank, UAE, who graciously shared his experience and insights on restructuring banks in the UAE.  Resolute partners David McDiarmid and Daniel Smith talked about their practical experiences with preparing and remediating asset portfolios and on balance sheet NPL management, respectively.
